Overview

Lillestol Research has performed multiple trials involving cardiovascular disease and/or cardiovascular risk factors such as obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension, and high cholesterol. The trials have varied in complexity of enrollment criteria and trial duration, however many are outcomes trials taking place over several years. Our outstanding patient retention rate makes us an excellent site choice for both short and long term duration trials.

Spotlight Trial(s)

  1. This was a cardiovascular outcomes trial comparing investigational product vs. placebo as an addition to current background therapy for patients with cardiovascular disease or cardiovascular risk factors in addition to type II diabetes. Lillestol Research was able to successfully meet and far exceed the sponsor’s enrollment expectation randomizing 51 patients in a 15-month enrollment period.
  2. This was a cardiovascular outcomes trial comparing investigational product vs. placebo for patients with cardiovascular disease and elevated blood sugars. Lillestol Research was able to successfully meet and exceed the sponsor’s enrollment expectation randomizing 22 patients in a 3-month enrollment period.
